This cache replaces the original Pat Creek cache. The first one had a nasty habit of disappearing so the second is a little more difficult.

A cache similiar to Crannies just down the road may not be suitable for kids although it seems my kids kids will climb scarier stuff than I'll usually attempt. It probably doesn't help that I'm height sensitive. It's a fairly good sized "small" cache; big enough for a small log and it's own pencil and some smaller items.

I looked for this one for 45 minutes, but just couldn't spot it. I hated leaving without finding it, but I ran out of places to look. Parked at the trailhead on Old Squaw Pass road and walked over here for a total of 7 miles round trip today. Thanks! I figured a big "small" would be easy to find. Big bummer!

Got back to car and decided what the heck, why not one more. It took about 10 minutes, as I needed to find the right "level."

Hoot Hoot! After my last two dnfs down the road & the last log on this one also a dnf I was So surprised to find this one & pretty quick too! This one was actually easier for me than nooks down the road. The coordinates are right on, but just had to get to the right level. Can't believe I was only the third to find after all these years. Good to end on a high note.
