Small cache in the Rico, CO (Delores Co.) cemetery. The cache name may make more sense once near GZ. As with any cemetery cache, please be very cautious and respectful not to disturb the sites and please search only during daylight. Take time to travel around this portion of the cemetery and that across Hwy 145 (take care crossing). Please do not remove container from its location; the lid will easily unscrew for access to the log. If there are problems with the cache, please post a note, thanks.

Thanks! Hortcacher and I got our names on this log.

This one took us a little bit of a search. Somebody recently logged that the log was in a sturdy bag with no container then somebody logged that they added a container. The container that we saw had been in place for quite some time, judging by the container, itself, and the host. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC!

I’m on a trek to find caches in the rest of the Colorado counties, in a clockwise direction. Expecting it to take about 5 days, before I start my journey back to Florida. County #37 Delores. All is well here. I placed the baggie & dry log in a small medical container. Favorite point awarded. TFTC SL

Yes, two of the three hints are misleading. Think 'winter friendly' and you'll do better. Just SL. TFTC! Nice cemetery, too.

I hope they relocated the graves when they built the road.

After searching for a few minutes, I decided to read logs. Thank goodness everyone said the hint was deceiving because it was. Thanks for the cache!

Thanks for another fun cache in this large long running series. Spent some time in Cortez while on a family vacation. We explored Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, and Canyons of the Ancients. Enjoyed lots of learning experiences for the kids. Grabbed this cache on the way home. Agree with others, hint is deceiving but we managed to spot this one. Stamped the log and replaced as found. Cool stop along the way and some good history here too! Read the plaque! Thanks for placing this for us all to enjoy!
