Horseshoe Basin
Peru Creek

This is the 8th in a series of 4x4 caches that offer the unusual, scenic vistas and/or a challenge.
Use the directions from GCK7HV to Waldorf but continue SW on FDR248.1V up to Argentine Pass. A few rocky places but nothing more than a moderate 4x4 road. Great overlook over the Horseshoe Basin area!
CA4WDCI road rating of 5

Big thanks for knocking out this cache. I have searched for just the right one to launch two TB's on a very special mission.

Thanks again for the effort.

Found while out on the trail with TRR. It's a bit breezy up there! Also picked up a travel bug to take to FL. What a fun day!

Holy wind! Wheeling with TRR today and found this one on the top of a very cold pass.

Spent the day jeeping with Team Red Rubicon and grabbed some caches along the way. Wow...the wind was really blowing up there today!

WeeeeeDoggies it was windy here, today!!
Jeeping with Team Red Rubicon on another great mountain day.
I left an unactivated Traildash Superchips Tag for another cacher, along with my own Traildash Tag to move along down the line.
I am a bad logger of my finds and the first time I found this cache was July 18,2009. I took my dad on his
first 4-wheeling adventure in the mountains. Zoltig was along for the adventure, too. It was definitely a most memorable day.

Wow, it sure is windy up here! Hit the hills with Team Red Rubicon and made it up to this cache. Cache is in great shape despite the rough conditions it must see every day. The wind about pushed me over a few times! I needed my winter coat up here! We took some pictures from the top before heading back down to our other destinations.
