This is the 7th in a series of 4x4 caches that offer the unusual, scenic vistas and/or a challenge. This one offers all three.Use the directions to GCK7HV but continue north on FDR248.1 towards Ganley Mountain. (The road will double back south to the cache). This is a very scenic but narrow shelf road with tight switchbacks. Short wheelbase vehicles recommended. The cache is near the top of McClellan Mountain which is Mountain Goat territory. The vista of Kelso Mountain and Stevens Gulch is breathtaking! Please cover the cache well. Thank you.

08/22/2015 By Mountain Roamer Spent the day jeeping with Team Red Rubicon and friends today.
We ran Argentine Pass and McClellan Mountain. It was a really long day. We started up the trail around 9:30am and didn't get off the trail until 9:00pm. We got in some fun night jeeping!
Somehow we all squeezed in to the parking area t the top. The views are amazing from this spot!
08/22/2015 By jpit Out for a great day of mountain wheeling with Team Red Rubicon. Although the views were awesome, they were hazy from the smoke coming from the wildfires way up in the Pacific Northwest. I left an unactivated Traildash Superchips Tag for another cacher.

08/22/2015 By Team Laxson Out caching with Team Red Rubicon today on these narrow and windy roads. This spot was far less windy than our previous stops for the day, and wow the view from here is amazing. Soaked up the scenery for a bit before continuing on to a rarely used side trail.
