I got a pointer from the cache owner at a recent event of ours; I was on the right track, but couldn't get checker success. But, managed to do so, and with a little extra time today, made the trek over to the solved coordinates.
Made the find quickly, SL, and put everything back the way I found it.

Yeay! I finally got the Y mystery! Now for the Z I’m giving a favor to this cash because it was a mystery that I could actually do without asking for help plus, I love your creativity. I saw a bunch of deer on the way here but couldn’t get the phone out fast enough to take a decent picture so this is what you get.

FTF! Found at 2:55pm. The raindrop sign was particularly apropos today on the way up the pass. Didn’t see any bears or snakes, but thanks for the warnings! Fun puzzle and a perfect location. TFTC!
