SCOOBY-DOO HAS BEEN DOGNAPPED!!

Who could do such a thing? And why would they do it??

The 5-stage cache runs up the main trail to the top of Spruce Mountain. Plan accordingly with time, weather, food and water! We estimate the cache will take around 2 hours, we think? As with all of my caches, everything you need to complete the geocache is provided to you. We love to see pictures; try not to give anything away!

GOOD LUCK, AND HAVE FUN!!

What a fun day! I've been wanting to do this multi for a while now, and was happy to have Kerewin0430 as a partner in crime - we were able to work our way through and get to the final, with a challenge along the way (missing piece of the puzzle). Thanks for setting this up for us, it was a beautiful day and interesting story you set up.

I had every intention of not leaving my couch this weekend (FINALLY taking time to just chill for the first time since February...oops), but COpackrat dangled this carrot in front of me. I had made progress on 2 previous visits, and knew that my best chance at finding the final was with her! Armed with guidance from gampa&gamma about the stage I got stuck on most recently and additional backup just in case, we set out. What a wonderful, varied series of puzzles! Unfortunately, half of one stage (that I'd found twice previously) is now missing, as was one of the locks on the final, but we were able to MacGyver our way through. Very very fun. I hope it can be fixed so that people who are starting from scratch are able to have the same adventure! Thank you for all the work that went into this one.

My son and I headed up to Spruce Mountain Open Space for a nice early morning hike. We found the first two stages easily enough, but then rain into trouble at the 3rd. We did gather some information here and continued on thinking that we probable would not be successful. We did eventually have success, but the CO probably should provide some maintenance for the 3rd and 4th stages as well as the final. Thanks for the Multi!

10:17 AM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

Today we headed to Spruce Mountain and Open Space. We were here about 5 years ago for the conclusion of a classic SparrowPI multicache. This time it's the Classic Movie series that is bringing us to the area.

I couldn't find what I needed for stage 3. Maybe I'll try again another time. Thanks, Fred and Daphne, for the cache.
