This will be a fun Unicorn Hunt involving beautiful artwork and animals. There are some who may think they can get ahead by skipping stages, but traps are set and all of the stages must be visited if you want to succeed. You'll want to bring note taking material on your journey. It is easy, but involved.
As always; enjoy! Fun tidbit: This was placed on my four year anniversary of Geocaching!

DPL

This cache is located at the Ross-University Hills Library.
This location's hours are as follows:
Monday: 10-6
Tuesday: 12-8
Wednesday: 10-6
Thursday: 12-8
Friday: 10-6
Saturday: 9-5
Sunday: Closed

Your mission starts at the posted coordinates.
There are five stages to this adventure, including the final. Let's begin!

Stage One: At the posted coordinates, you will find a sculpture by Wang Po Shu.
A = add together the four digits of the year on the plaque (ex: 2014=7)
B = how many letters are in the Mayor's name (first, middle initial, last)
C = multiply the amount of vertical beams by A
D = multiply the amount of horizontal beams by B
X = (A-1)+B+C+D

Stage Two: Go inside the library. Down the steps and to your right is a book drop,
go around that corner and find the origami logo artwork on the wall.
Y = how many origami cranes make up this artwork

Stage Three: First, add together X and Y. Now go to the Reference Section and find this number. Open the book and you will find instructions to Stage Four in the front. Take the book and your notes from the previous stages with you, as you will need them to find the final location. After you have found and signed the cache, PLEASE place the book back where it goes for the next Unicorn Hunter, thanks!

Stage Four and Five (Final): Use the tools and solve the puzzles for these last two stages. The puzzle will tell you exactly where to go. Good luck!

This cache series would not be possible without the enthusiastic and supportive help of the staff at the Denver Public Library. Be sure to visit the other geocaches in this series and collect the special code at each final for future surprises. A bookmark of the other caches in this series can be found HERE. Greetings from California! Approve
OMG such loving work went into this cache. It’s true as the cache description says, that the puzzle tells you exactly where to go for waypoint five (the final), but I didn’t believe it, and ended up being distracted for a good 10 minutes by the impressive decoy in the Children’s Section. Then I heard the announcement over the loudspeaker that the library was closing in 15 minutes. I asked a friendly librarian for a hint and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the literary library letterbox! CoolCoolCool #1,232

I had some extra time this afternoon and was in the area, so I stopped by to knock out another cache in the DPL series. I've been to this branch before, but I discovered new nooks and crannies and art pieces here that I didn't notice before. I almost freaked out when I first saw the origami artwork, luckily I didn't have to count each piece thanks to the handy signage. :)
This cache was a lot of fun, thanks for taking the time to set it up for us to enjoy!
