ACTUAL COORDINATES:
Thought that it would be refreshing for YOU to decide where you would like for this cache to be (in the Littleton area). Where you place this cache will be determined by two numbers that you choose, and some simple math.

1. What are your north coordinates?
a. Pick a random 4-digit number not repeating any single number.
b. Rearrange the number to make it as large as possible.
c. Rearrange the number again to make it as small as possible.
d. Subtract the smaller number from the larger.
e. Take the result and repeat steps b. through d. until you don’t see a need to do this any longer. It will come to you.
f. With your final 4-digit number, maintaining the sequence, use the following random conversion list to determine the missing coordinate numbers.

0 = 5
1 = 9
2 = 1
3 = 8
4 = 0
5 = 3
6 = 6
7 = 4
8 = 2
9 = 7

N 39° 3 _ . _ _ _

2. What are your west coordinates?
a. Pick a 3-digit number this time, no repeated numbers.
b. Reverse the sequence of the number.
c. Subtract the smaller of the two numbers from the other.
d. Reverse the sequence of the result of step c.
e. Add the result of step c. with the result of step d.
f. Use the final number, in sequence, to produce the missing coordinate numbers from the following random-number scale.

1 = 0
2 = 5
3 = 1
4 = 6
5 = 2
6 = 8
7 = 4
8 = 3
9 = 9
0 = 7

I had solved this puzzle a while back. Or, I should say, I thought I had. I came up with coordinates that seemed reasonable, but thankfully I never looked there. I verified what I had with another finder and realized my math was off. I redid the whole puzzle and came up with the right coordinates.

I have been wanting to search for this for a while. It's kind of on the way to work from my son's school. But, even better, it's right across the street from where my son plays basketball through South Suburban! I don't know why I never looked on the many nights I've been here. I did last week right before one of his games when we arrived early, but I came up empty.

I reached out to the last finder and got a good hint. Turns out I had the right idea, just the wrong side! But both my idea and the correct side worked together to result in finding the cache.

Even though I DNFed this the first time, I have to admit that it is one of my favorite styles of hides. Excellent placement and very clever fun. You deserve a favorite!

Thanks for the hide Triangulum. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

We happened to be in the area going to the Haunted Mansion at the Reinke Brothers grand reopening after being closed for a few years. Haunted house was awesome and the cache was awesome too. This took some major looking. Glad to have this puzzle solved and found.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

Well, finally, but I had to bring my expert cacher, Sproutsnana, who spotted it. She always tells me, look for something that doesn't belong.

We visited before. The last time I was waaay off. This new locale had us stumped as we were trying to find after the art show and little man ice cream. FINALLY! A find. Thanks for the hide.

I solved this last winter when I have more time for puzzles. Finally was in the area to search for the cache. Spent some time with no luck so I emailed the CO for a hint. This almost always guarantees I'll find it soon after & sure enough had it in hand within 2 minutes. Had to expand search just a bit from coordinates probably because of tree cover.

Heading out with fearthefish for a completely different caching place, but one can't pass an unfound cache with fearthefish in the car!! I found it pretty fast, but had some good insider information on where to look. Looks like we'll be grabbing another nearby puzzle I solved AND the virtual near that before we are on our way to our original destination. (this is exactly why he is my geo-hero!!) TFTC
