This cache is in memory of a fallen friend, Jimi Flowers. Jimi died in a climbing accident in 2009. I've placed this cache as a tribute to him on his birthday, August 1st. From very near the cache site, you can see the type of terrain that Jimi loved. And on the horizon the mountains of the Front Range, Mosquitos, Sawatch and Sangre de Cristos where we had climbed for over a dozen years. Namaste, Jimi!

What a wonderful place and a nice tribute for a cache. The bristlecone pines were as amazing to me as the views.

Holy Smokes! We did it! We hiked The Crags...and made it all the way to the top!

A "moderate" hike for most people in Colorado, it proved to be a fun challenge for this couple from Minnesota where the elevation is 900 or so feet!

We were able to pick up 2/3 caches along the way. For some reason I just couldn't talk my honey into that 5/5 along the way!

Beautiful trail and wonderful tribute at the top! Thanks for placing a cache in his honor and all the way at the top to help all of us celebrate this amazing hike!

Definitely a Must Do in the Colorado Springs/Divide area!

Thanks for the adventure! Photos tell the whole story!

Stopped at what I thought was the end of the trail but GPS had this another .18 miles. The extra was worth it for the cache and awesome views.
