This is my wife's first hide. It is also a medium-sized Rx bottle. We hid this one around one of our favorite evening fishing spots. Go get this one in the evening for the incredible scenery in the valley.

[FTF] #81 @ 3:47 pm. WOO-HOO! My second FTF from CO Hikewell in a week! I wanted to grab this one last week, but ran out of time. Less than a week ago we rescued a wonderful little puppy that we named Boone. It's been just a little over a year since I lost my beloved Geodog Shorty, and I've been waiting for the stars to align for a new dog, after a long period of grieving. Well today Boone and I set out for our very first find together. No doubt he'll be my side for hundreds if not thousands more as time goes by, but he needed to start somewhere.

I love this park and the lake in particular. Pre Pandemic I used to volunteer with Trout Unlimited and we would bring kids down here to teach them about entomology, the importance of cold clean water, and general fishing techniques. Hopefully we'll be able to resume that fun again next year. I found the cache just a scoche north of GZ. I happily added my stamp in Pole Position, snapped a picture and replaced as found. Going to go ahead and give this one first Favorite! More hides please, TFTC!
