Near the Jennie June Mine. There are still some buildings standing, but very run down. Still some neat sites here. Geocache is a 32oz plastic jar covered in Duct tape. Plenty of goodies inside.

Could not dig up very much info on this mine.  But still fun to look around and see.

Please be careful around these old mine workings.  It is not safe to enter the buildings, or explore any mine openings.

4 wheel drive not normally required, but high ground clearance vehicle is strongly recommended.

I was out with Geowife picking up a few I needed north of Leadville. This turned out to be quite a ride, not hard but longer then i had figured on. Glad we came though, it was an easy trip for the Jeep. Cache is in great shape. TFTF

(FTF) !!! Been watching this one for awhile now. Finally made it out this way and was able make the find. In addition to being rewarded with a nice clean log to sign, I was able to do some exploring with my friends around this really cool site!!! Also enjoyed a little rain and even some hail!!!! TNLNSL TFTC.....FTF.....and FUN!
