This cache is an option for the series and is an off-chute of the Wheeler Lake trail.
The beginning of the trail will provide you with some "Rocky Mountain Pinstriping" as you make your way through the scrub. It will also provide you an extra challenge going off-camber with loose soil and rock towards the end.
Caution should be used if the trail is muddy and probably not attempted.
Stay the trail and tread lightly.
Go in small groups.

Jeeping Wheeler Lake with several friends and stopped to get a few as long as we were in the area. This little side trip was more then it appeared to be at first. Lots of off camber and plenty of rocks. Once my head stopped wagging I got out and found this gem. TFTC

Spending our 4th summer in Buena Vista with a dozen or so of our Jeeping friends. We love to explore the roughest, toughest dirt roads in our red-mobile, and finding lonely caches in out-of-the-way places. Took 7 Jeeps to this optional side trip, tftc
