Scenic view  Significant hike

Here's a cache for you to find while climbing a fun mountain just across the road from some very crowded peaks.
Sponge Bob is waiting for a visit from you up here near the summit of a very nice peak. The wildflowers were beautiful at the end of July, and there are good lake views on the way up and great vistas at the top. It does amaze me that he's so far from his normal hangout in the Pacific, but possibly that could be explained by tectonic plate theory and the uplifting of the Rockies, a giant tsunami, or just the fact that he decided to take a vacation. Regardless, he's up here, and you could join him after an invigorating hike.

The cache container is a camo'ed rectangular lock 'n lock box. Please return it so it remains secure in its location, and is blocked from view. We wouldn't want any muggles to kidnap him!

This was a challenging one! We dried out the cache, put the log in a new baggie (old one was all ripped), took the Buffalo Bill History trinkets and left a classic brass compass.

Had a fun day going hiking with my friend kb0rpw. Got a bunch of caches. This was her first 13er so it was a special day. Thanks for placing it!

Denali41, Paul, and I had a great day hiking up to the top of Square Top. The sun was out most of the morning with just a few scattered clouds but the wind made things a little chilly when we got about 1/2 way up so we each put on and extra layer and our gloves. We were able to find all of the caches along the route except for two. One was still buried in snow and one was missing. But we replaced it with the owner's permission. Thanks COpackrat for placing this nice cache, I really enjoyed the creativity in the container!!!

icezebra11 and I hiked to the summit of Square Top this morning accompanied by a muggle friend who showed great patience while we searched out the various nice caches along our hiking route--a route defined by the sequence of caches along the way! Thanks for placing this one, COpackrat! Loved the cache and SpongeBob!
