Go up the trail 4.4 miles and you'll be on top of Twin Sisters Mountain, the Southern/Eastern summit.
It's a long haul to this one, but well worth the effort.

To get here, park at the Twin Sisters Trailhead, which can be found across the road from Lily Lake. From there, go up. You'll eventually make it to the 2nd summit of Twin Sisters. Find the Benchmark at the top, then search for the cache.

I have hiked to Twin sisters a couple of times and have cached there too, but never quite put it together to chase this cache. Today was the day to seek it out. I got an early start and found the cache about 10:30 am but not before a substantial scrambling exercise on the way up. Going down I found a route not visible on the way up and found it easier to get down the slope. I returned to the east of the east Sister using a different route than the way down between the sisters.

My wife and I were spending a few days in Estes Park and I wanted to do some hiking. I chose this climb up to the Two Sisters peaks. We got started at 11:30am and met many people coming down as we were going up. My wife stayed with me for the first 1.5 miles and then went back down to wait for me. I continued up the mountain and heard thunder in the distance. I never got any real rain, only a few drops. I stopped to rest, drink water and take in the great views along the way. I did not load any other caches that were along the trail as I was focused on getting this one. When I reached the first summit, I was there alone. I got my bairings and then headed to the next summit. I scrabbled over the rocks and boulders and reached the top. I found the benchmark and then headed to find the cache. I checked a few spots and then made the find. Nice hide. I lingered at GZ awhile atook some pictures. Then I started back down the mountain. I made it back down without incident and will remember this climb for a long time. It earns a Favorite Point from me. SL TFTC Team Laxson

Thanks for the nice solid cache! I went down and back up to this one after visiting A Pair of Queens. I was pretty tired by this point in the hike, so the up part went rather slow. A group of teenagers went past me while I was working my way up the boulders, and were headed back to the Sisters when I got to the top. Really nice views from up here. On the way up, a pair of fighter jets circled the peak 3 times at high speed. Kinda cool! A propeller plane was circling around for a while too.

Found the cache easily, and everything is in good shape. Signed the log, took some pictures, and had some food. Then headed back to the East Sister, which was definitely the hardest part of the day. Left the peak right at noon after about 30 minutes of enjoying the scenery.

Made the climb this morning with a group of hikers from the Northern Colorado Adventurers group. I've never been up Twin Sisters and was amazed at the views of Longs Peak. The scramble up the rib to the second sister was a blast. Great journey and the type of cache that I really enjoy! TFTC!

Thank you so much for this cache. I loved scrambling from Twin Sisters over to this peak and finding the cache. Took a few items, left a few items. By the way, this peak should be the third 'sister,' and they could be renamed the Triplett Sisters. Better yet, this peak should be named Cinderella, and the other 2 peaks could be the bad sisters. Fantastic 360 degree views. Love it! Now this cache has had 2 visitors since 2011.
