From the time when kids had to walk uphill both way to school. There was dozens of country schools across the county ensuring that no kid had to walk more than 3 miles

Before Radnor the district was know as Condon. In 1887 it was a sod house located about a mile south of this location. At that time it was still part of Arapahoe County and was numbered district 41.It seem to have been quite a community center as there was also a post office and a general store and black smith shop here. At sometime it became 2 sod house called East and West Radnor. By 1909 these sod houses were in poor repair and were to be replaced by one frame school house located near this site that was Radnor 104. By 1954 there was was only 2 students and the citizens voted to close the school
