Scenic view  Thorns

It was mid December and snow had already hit the High Country.  The wind made going outside in the bitter cold  just plain miserable.  Cowboy’s new girlfriend Brandy found Cowboy near the fireplace repairing his saddle.  She said, “Cowboy, you promised to get me a Christmas tree before now.

Brandy continued, "You better go out and get a pretty one now or I’ll refuse to cook you that turkey supper and apple pie for Christmas Day”.   The thought of missing out on the fine meal and making Brandy get upset during the holiday season was enough motivation for Cowboy to go get that tree.....Now!!!  Cowboy saddled up and headed out of Mancos looking at the high mountains where the nice spruce and pines grew.  Cowboy took a side trail back in the foothills looking for a route that might be passable to the area where the spruce trees grew.  Cowboy already had the shivers as the wind cut through his clothes.  His horse had ice hanging from his ears and nose and the horse’s steps were slow and labored.  Just then Cowboy spied a pretty nice tree near the trail and decided to take it for Brandy.  When Cowboy brought the tree through the door, Brandy said, “Well, that cedar ain’t no spruce, but with this weather it’ll do”.  She gave Cowboy a hug and and kiss.heart

The cache is on the shoulder of a dirt road.  The road could be slippery in the rain or snow. The cache is a black camo Bison tube with log.  Tweezers or forceps or similar tool is advised to remove the log.  Please securely place the cache were found .

Thanks for the quick find. I'm sure glad I didn't have to go through what Cowboy did to get that cache.
