This cache was hidden by the Cub Scouts during an overnight camp out! If five to eleven year olds made it up this trail- you can too! It's a nice little hike.
The Cub Scouts, equipted with their GPS and trail mix, enjoyed hiking to the secret spot and filling the cache with Cub Scout related items (would be cool to keep it Scout themed, but not required). The boys (and their families) had fun adding what they wanted to the cache and signing their names. This was such an amazing experience for them- we hope you enjoy finding this cache! The coordinates will get you a nice view of the cache, be sure to look around for the best route to the cache!

Stopped at Target Tree Campground, but the gate was closed. Went a little further down the road to FS 316, then on to FS 508. Even though the sign said its open 4/1, the gate was still locked. Had to hoof it through the oak brush. It's been several years since I've done that, and I decided that I don't miss it. Found the cache easy enough and decided to return via the road but didn't quite make it out before the lightning and thunder. Thanks for the cache and the hike.
