Routinly hidden, but easy ATV/4WD access to site. Taylor Valley, N of Taylor Reservoir, FR742 to FR 584FWD, 2 creek crossings, .75mi
Along Tellurium Creek, the only access into the spectacular Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area stands an old abandoned sawmill that served several productive silver, gold, and zinc mines in the area such as the Eclipse and Ruby. It's an easy ATV/4WD trip to the site but for a real treat, continue for another 5 miles to a alpine basin that takes your breath away in beauty. Ground level but covered, so snow would render inaccessable.

Good hike up a steep road trying to navigate thru all the rocks and flowing water running down hill. Cache is in good shape in a great hiding spot.

Just got back from an incredible trip combining RZR riding with a little geocaching. Great fun with family, friends and of course geocaching. Beautiful country with some great caches.
