Keeping alive the tradition I started last year with my very first hide -- on my birthday! This is a favorite Day Spa for our 4-legged pal when we are out and about... but I can tell you've I've seen many a 2 legged pal enjoying the waters of Whiskey Creek too! The day after we hid this cache, we saw a young'un pull out a fish too!
This cache is a medium sized pill bottle that started out with the log and a few small tradeables. It is just off of Forest Service Road 550 -- which is a good gravel road that can be driven by just about any vehicle. We've often seen all sorts of motorized transportation on this road, but watch for motorcycles, 4 wheelers and the such buzzing by! Whiskey Park and the surrounding areas are a favorite of many! There also might be logging trucks in the area, so just beware!
If you plan to go, make this a good day trip and find several of the other geocaches in the area -- take a picnic lunch and find yourself over the boarder (just under 3 miles from this cache) into Wyoming at nearby Hog Park Reservior! You can then make a loop in several ways if you don't wish to retrace your steps back this way!
