Located in Lime Canyon - can drive/park very close to find.
Our family takes an annual camping trip and one of our favorite spots is Sylvan Lake State Park. The Cache was hidden on a drive we took from the camp site. We found the most beautiful canyon and decided that it would be the perfect spot for it. If you love beautiful scenery this is a cache for you to find. It is easy to drive to, however may not be easy to access in the winter. N 4x4 required in the summer

6/1/2015 - if you are heading out to find this cache can you please take a container (I think it is or was in a coffee can) that is now gone. Might be next year before I can make it up there. Thanks!!

 Hints

The cave is too obvious, but if you get 'stumped' look for a springy place to take a break and look the up hill.

Cache was in several pieces. Salvaged what I found, and placed it where it looked like it belonged.

Son Matt, who lives in the area, made the scramble up the last few feet to grab the cache. There is no lid on the container, but things are in plastic and seemed dry. It is a very beautiful area. We saw a couple of climbers going up the wall opposite the cache site. There was a camp set up near where we parked and below the site. No one was there, so we skirted the camp site and found the cache. It looked like lots of caves on the wall across the way.
TFTC and for showing up this beautiful canyon. We came from MI to be the FTF in 2014.

Quite amazing! Last official log 2 years ago. Seemed like in the log book there was one from 2011. But unfortunately the box lay open and content outside. Frown But Log book still dry and toys mainly okay. Put every thing back in the box. But because I could not really completely dry it, I'm not sure what will happen. Anyway cool location. Smile
BTW did the Eagle Lake Trail first and with this box so close, of course, I could not resist taking a look, even though the last log was so long ago.

Cache 4 von 4 an diesem Tag.

I was out in the area elk hunting and decided to check one of my favorite areas. Oh man that road heading in was muddy. I think my truck was covered completely. No elk today, but I grabbed the cache and took another way out. TFTC SL.
