EV1102 got the FTF

Come visit one of the few prison museums in the Western United States, including one of only two gas chambers on exhibit. There is no admission charge to view the outside exhibits, including the gas chamber. There is an entrance fee to go inside the cell house where you will find many more exhibits and a gift shop with inmate made items.

Placed with permission on the grounds of the Museum of Colorado Prisons. Available only during business hours. Summer hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day. Winter hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday). If you see any of the museum staff be sure to thank them for allowing a geocache on the premises.

Cache is a small magnetic container with room for a few small trade items.

I had to run back here to clean up my mistakes; I left the Pirate Cutlass geocoin here but logged it into Planetary Pursuit. I picked it up just now and put it in Planetary Pursuit where it belonged. While there Room Ten-O-Nine drove up and we had a visit.

Now that was an easy puzzle to solve, I like them that way. Finding a time when there weren't muggles exploring the area was a different story. Signed the log and left the Pirate Cutlass Geocoin. ( I hope that wasn't a mistake, this cache has a high muggle findability).

Really just came here for this awesome museum, but thought we should check to see if there was a cache nearby before we left. Conveniently this one was only 3 feet away! Waited out an older couple then we made the grab, sign, and replace. Thanks for the destination!
