Another cache hidden near Horsethief Falls.
Located near Horsethief Falls, this cache was placed up the hillside far enough away from the falls to hopefully avoid muggles. I chose to place this cache because I found one near here a couple of years ago that was muggled and archived. I want to give cachers a reason to come here the same as I did. The terrain rating is due to the steepness of the first .80 miles of the trail and the short steep climb at the end. To get there: From Hwy 24, go south on Hwy 67 9.7 miles and park in the parking area on the south end of the old tunnel. The trail is to your right.

We found Horsethief Falls, and then I found the geocache. The cache is well protected. I did not have a pencil or pen to sign the log sheet. I took a picture of Horsethief Falls.

In the area with Snailman1 finishing up a fun multi and then we headed to the falls.

With all the hiking I have done in this area, this was my first time to the falls.

Found this one on our hike to Horsetheif falls. Hell of a climb. If you get this one, I would suggest do grab it before the hiking to Pancake Rocks. I did it after and I was feeling it! TFTC!!!!
