Elk Creek Road is a narrow, winding road with great scenery. It runs from Schaffer's crossing to Pine Valley. The cache is not on the creek side of the road, and is in a stump with striped wooden reflectors. Coords are close- but were bouncing a bit when I too and averaged readings. Best accuracy I could get was 33 feet. There is only one stump with reflectors around the cache- so no clue needed. Happy caching!

Almost dark, no good place to park, road pretty busy, thought this would be across the river, but read the hint, saw the place, parked, hopped quickly across the road, made the snag & pulled out just as a car came along. Wow!
