I would walk both my pups down to the creek while my son had swim team at Wulf rec. I discovered these random trails behind Wulf and finally found one that leads to the creek. My dog Jada passed away in 2023 and she loved playing in this creek.

My advice with the unmarked trail.

There's a "fire road" behind wulf. Take that going left towards brook forest rd and 73.

It forks a few times. First fork stay right( because left takes you to a water thing.) Next fork stay left. ( Right goes to a cliff). This trail looks like you end up at someone's house, but it veers right just above them. If you do this trail correctly it takes you to the creek. I have never seen anyone on this trail or at the creek. It feels like my own special secret. I'm now sharing with you.

BYOP

Cache is a birdhouse in the blue spruce tree right next to the creek.

The youth corps was felling trees across the street from where I parked. When I saw them start running away decided I should make a quick getaway before I got struck by a widow maker. Fun tribute. My dawg is relaxing on the couch. He’s not a hiker. Thanks

I enjoyed a nice stroll in the hood after work, sans puppy - he's on a hike with mom. I parked out on Brook Forest Rd. and made the easy walk down to GZ, where I discovered a perfect place to fjord Cub Creek without a drop of liquid on my kicks. Spotted the REALLY NICE container as I approached and couldn't help but smile. This is a perfect place to memorialize your hound, I lost my faithful Geodog Shorty a few years back and still miss him. However we did rescue a Tasmanian devil named Boone who'll continue to yank my shoulder out until it requires surgery, but by my side for many-many years to come. Cheers to the very active new CO TTWeiss, another favorite coming your way. Check out some of my hides just across the street! TFTC!

FTF at 1:32 PM. Parked on S. Brook Forest Road and crossed stream. A fun find earns a favorite point. Thanks for placing. Knyte7
