Marky marked the spot with an ammo can. Garlic, Marky and I went for one of our favorite hikes on the Beaver Brook Trail. We left some "presents". Come find them!

Was waiting for the FTF before I logged this cache. I'm Marky, as in the one who marks the spot! I was with my pals Garlic and Greasepot when this cache was hidden. Great spot, and hopefully more people will make the trek! TFTC.

{FTF} @ 2:54 PM

This morning I saw that this one still hadn't been found. I debated whether I could get my son to head out with me. I asked him what I would have to do to bribe him to take the hike. We ended up bringing a boy from the neighborhood. We headed out on the Beaver Brook Trail (and did not take the Chavez Trail). When I saw the pace that they were maintaining I quickly gave up on the idea of making it to this cache. I gave them numerous opportunities to turn back. We did eventually make it to where the Chavez Trail runs into the Beaver Brook Trail. I gave them the option again of just heading back up that trail. But, they were still game to head for the cache. So, we headed out, knowing that it was going to be an out and back. They were troopers and made it to the cache. It rained on us on and off all day long. When we got to the cache we experienced the hardest rainfall of the day. The boys enjoyed taking a look through the cache to see what they wanted to trade out. I dropped a TB. Then we headed back down the trail to connect with the Chavez Trail for the steep hike back up. I really needed a nice long day in the woods since work has been quite stressful lately. My son did quite well on the hike. The neighborhood boy was really struggling to make it through. We did finally make it back to the car. This was my only cache of the day. I can say it would have been an absolute disaster for me to have tried for this one on my recent late night / early morning hike.
