It is a fun way to experience some beautiful landscapes and places as well as have fun, learn, and maybe even challenge yourself a little. Caches can be done in any order (with exception of 5th grade, 8th grade, and 12th grade). You will need to be observant because there will be clues that you will need if you choose to continue your education!

Welcome to Higher Education – Fourth Graders Learn Colorado History
This cache is the 5th cache in the series "Higher Education." There will be 14 different caches in the series that will follow the grades from Kindergarten to 12th grade - with a bonus cache if you graduate high school and go to “College.”
If you chose to further your education - you will have a special cache at grades 5th, 8th, and 12th grades - each of these caches will need clues from the previous caches in order to solve them.
For example: to complete Grade 5 you will need information from grades K-5. To complete grade 8 you will need information from K-8. To complete Grade 12 you will need information from K-12. So keep your eyes open to the clues and make sure to write them all down! Happy hunting & learning!!!
Each grade will get progressively more challenging and exciting!
You can do the individual caches (with exclusion of 5, 8, 12) in any order.

“Fourth Graders Learn Colorado History”
CONGRATULATIONS to tsnap84 for being FTF!!! Great job!!!
One of the major things that fourth grade students learn about is Colorado History. As you take this journey through Colorado History I thought you would enjoy learning some interesting trivia.
Just like at regular school you will need your own writing tool!
Since the theme is Colorado History, I thought it would be fun and light-hearted to share your favorite fun fact about Colorado History. It is optional - but thought it would be a fun way to connect with other geocachers. Humor is always appreciated.
My favorite memory about Colorado History is when I watched my daughter in her school performance of Colorado History. A fun fact I just learned while creating this cache about Colorado History is: “Beulah red" is the name of the red marble that gives the Colorado State Capitol its distinctive splendor. Cutting, polishing, and installing the marble in the Capitol took six years, from 1894 to 1900. All of the "Beulah red" marble in the world went into the Capitol. It cannot be replaced, at any price.
Your first task in this learning adventure is to find all the answers to the following Colorado History questions.
1. Colorado is the only state in history, to turn down the Olympics. In what year were the Winter Olympics suppose to be held in Denver. Yet, 62% of all state Voters choose at almost the last minute not to host the Olympics, because of the cost, pollution and population boom it would have on the State Of Colorado, and the City of Denver. (Y)

6. According to a survey done in 2003, a 3rd marker was placed showing which step of the state capital building in Denver is exactly 1 mile high above sea level. (Q)
7. The Dwight Eisenhower Memorial Tunnel between Clear Creek & Summit counties is the highest auto tunnel in the world. Bored at an elevation of 11,000 feet under the Continental Divide. How many feet long is the tunnel? Its average daily traffic exceeds 26,000 vehicles. (R)
8. Leadville is the highest incorporated city in the United States. How high is the elevation in feet. Because there was lots of "silver" named towns at the time, the founding fathers suggested Leadville. (W)
9. The Colorado Rockies are part of the North American Cordillera, which stretches 3,000 miles from Alaska, through western Canada and the United States, into northern Mexico.
