We happened across this spectacular spot on the way back from a cache at a fishing spot on the South Platte River. This song came to mind as we stood on the edge looking down at "the people far below" and "the rivers and the hills".

Found it, but I'm so lost without the number 66 in the name.
I mean, 66 houses over there in the view or 66 fish in the river or something.!!! But absolutely awesome views. Thank you so much for bringing me here. I'm giving it a favorite for the great view from here.

This is a spectacular place for a cache. In fact I was annoyed that Ernie didn't let me have it. He's selfish like that. On top of that he named it weirdly. If you walked on air from this spot, you would be dead. But, it is an amazing song by Nightwish. Originally the theme song for The Snowman. You can imagine yourself flying over this spectacular area.

Was out "Walking in the Air" by the South Platte River this morning, at 7:30 a.m. to be the 2TF on this Ernie cache. What a wonderful cache it is. I didn't have to climb straight up a hillside or dangle from a cliff. Thank you for that. I am a slow walker. It took me 45 minutes and was 1.36 miles one way. I am just sayin' in case you were wondering. I was the only life around, starting off, besides a Doe, some birds and a bunny. Of course on the way out there were some people fishing. Surprised to see all of the new parking areas they are putting in.
Signed the log and admired the beautiful view and got out of there before the flies got too crazy. Thanks Ernie. This one gets a FAV from me. It's a good one!

FTF!

Definitely hiking in cool crisp air this morning out and back. ( 50 degrees out and 52 degrees back)

It was kind of a C&D because I wanted to hit a few fishing spots at parking and on the way out.

How ever I did take time to smell the flowers so to speak.

Kind of surprised to find a blank log?
