Takes more than an hour  Scenic view  Medium hike (1km-10km)

Camouflaged match container just off Barr Trail at about 12,700 feet.
On the other side of Pikes Peak at about the same altitude is an area called Devils Playground. The devils must get to use the playground while the angles are busy enjoying the view from their rock garden. The view from the cache is spectacular and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy it. The air is rare but the trip is worth it. I've included spoiler photos to help the oxygen deprived.

What better day to summit America's mountain Pikes Peak than on the fourth of July! Went up Barr Trail from Manitou Springs and of course I had to use the opportunity to grab some caches, this was one of them!! TFTC!!!

The old reliable 450 was showing three feet with the needle pointing right at it! Smile

Even with spoilers, it took me forever to find the cache i guess oxygen deprivation doesnt help my caching skills

Shoulda known better than to do the Barr Trail the SUNDAY before the Ascent and Marathon. And to top it off, I lost my pen. Including a photo of the container so you can see I found it.

Still a great day for a hike and couple caches. Thanks!

What an amazing trek up Pikes Peak! This was my 2nd 14er, and I am very excited to check more off of the list! Each one of the geocaches we found along the way provided a much-needed break that we milked searching and drinking and eating and sitting. Thank you to all of the owners for placing these -- they were all great caches on an amazing trail!

I had planed to go down to the next two but the wind started to blow up hill and that means a change in the weather.

This was a fun hide to search for and coords are spot on.

Thanks!
