It was voted on to form Dist 88 in Arapahoe County in Nov of 1889.. The District consisted of 26 sections. In 1892 they buit a sod school at the corner of Road 8 & Road N In 1900 a 16x24 frame School House was buit near the corner of Road 8 & Road M. In1910 it was voted on to buid a second school in the district on the corner of Road 9 & P where the Olivet cemetary is now located This school was to be of Sod At time the district called out a Shaw Shool and a Sod School. From a class student list in 1911 they were called Unity Union,& Fairvale schools. By 1915 there was talk of consolidating and a new scool was built at the location that you are standing at. This school was called Red Top for the red roofing material that was used. It continued until 1956 when it was annexed into the Liberty School
