Located in Mt. Falcon Park, this is a log only cache near the end of a trail with great views. Sit awhile on the nearby bench and look over the Denver area!
In order to log this cache, it is necessary to compose an original limerick - Please write it in the logbook and in your online log. Here are a few examples to show literary genius in not required:

Geocaching can be quite a thrill,
Makes you run up and down every hill.
And I feel like a nut
When a cache kicks my butt
But it still seems I can't get my fill!

"With cold weather, there's insects no longer"
So they say but they couldn't be wronger.
'Cause the flies and the gnats
All put on their wool hats
And their appetites only get stronger!

You get the idea. Keep it child friendly (nothing about people from the Martha's Vineyard area) and have fun! Logs that do not include an original limerick will be deleted - the difficulty rating reflects the need to write the limerick, finding the cache is only a 2.

Great idea. I enjoyed coming up with the cache and the limerick. Took nothing, left a limerick.
Beautiful misty morning out here on Two Dogs! (and I was with two dogs).

I'm working on filling my month/year grid and came here to find one of the older caches in the park. It was supposed to be cold and windy today, but it's cool and mild. I think the forecast kept a lot of people away, good for us because we got great spots to park and it's not crowded. I'm with my sister and my niece, by this point she was pretty excited about finding more caches. They hadn't been out this side trail before, and we all enjoyed the view. My niece is all into looking for a "suspicious pile of rocks" or a "suspicious pile of sticks", and soon enough we heard the excited "I found it!!!". I signed for my sister (fickelchook) as well as myself, but she's a bit of a muggle so I doubt she'll log it online. The cache is in great shape. Thanks for the smiley! Find #2349.

This find took me on a trail in the park I have not hiked before!!! The day was sunny but very windy! This also reminds me of the Burma Shave signs I use to see along the roads when I was kid growing up in the 1950s and 1960s! I always enjoyed reading the new jingles!!!

Anyway here is the limerick I left in the log:

Geocaching can be quite a rush
To be the FTF for some is a must
But for most of us we are happy just to find
And enjoy our Geocaching time!!!

Cache and log is in great shape! TNLN-SL!!! TFTC!!!

P.S. Burma Shave!!! LOL!!!!

Nice find with DimensionGarret, weasel311, Landen24 and CacheDeposit. Enjoyed the hike and all finds today.

Found GCX3KB - Out on a Limerick, on August 13, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, COpackrat for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can sign my alias on a piece of paper you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

The only limericks I know are far too raunchy for a cache, but, if pressed, I will provide one.

My #2002 with David along with Helen and Ben on the hike. I was trying to find a rhyme with Pennsylvania when she came up with this limerick. All is well here. TFTC.

There once was a guy from Aurora,
who searched for a cache-a-rola,
the temps were hot,
the cache was got,
he didn't get stuck by the flora.

Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

It's nice to find old caches placed before I even started hunting for them.

The day started out with out a cloud in view. After while, I knew not how, clouds were building and the sky turned dark grey, I can not stay, so I am on my way to finish my day.

Thanks for the fun in the sun!

It was a beautiful day to go out and play. My hubby had a sore toe - but we decided to still Go.
We sat on a rock and heard our little hummer, but couldn't see him, what a Bummer!!

Out late in a state Park,
Sure hate to walk in the dark,
But I'll take it in stride,
I'll make it my Mark,
Then all I'll have left is my pride.

Groovy cache! Hurray first for 2017!
