The name is about half right, I think this one is lost. I found a pencil and bag but no log or cache. Boy the last 200 feet are a killer. Sent picture to CO to verify I was at the cache site.

Beautiful area and hike! I found a zip lock bag with a pen and a rock in it, no container. Very peculiar, maybe I found the remnants of one of the prior hides? I left a slip of paper and signed it.

I had only gotten to the 1st lake on my last hike in the area. I was so glad my husband agreed to keep hiking to the bigger lake. We did worry a bit as there was some thunder & lightning but the skies stayed pretty clear above us. This lake is fabulously beautiful-in a class all its own. I'm glad this cache gave us the extra motivation we needed to make the trek.

Camping in Buena Vista for the 4th week end. Wanted to do a short hike, and Lost Lake seemed like a good choice and of course geocaching. Made it to the Lake and was determined to find the cache. Our reward was a travel bug! Great views from up here, thanks for the challenge.

The Colorado Single Malt Duo stopped by to check out the fishing and found an amazing lake set in a stunningly beautiful setting. Left a TB. TFTC.
