Ready to cross over the continental divide?...it's a long hike on foot but easier with an ATV! Elevation 11,780
From Pitkin go on 765, right on 839, alpine tunnel road, then right on 299 (Hancock pass road) On the way up almost to the top, there is a camp spot with an awesome view of Tomichi pass, now look across the road uphill, you will see a few trees. Elevation 11,780 Top of Hancock pass is elevation 12,150. Can go by foot but easier by ATV. Just enjoy the views!

Out with friends making a loop from Buena Vista, over Monarch Pass then Pitkin and back to BV via Hancock Pass a total of 145 miles. Nearing the end of our adventure, glad this was a quick find. TFTF

We were in the Jeep for the trip over Hancock Pass and back over Tincup Pass. It was a cool day, with a bit of drizzle, but we had a great time. I haven't been on these trails for nearly 30 years. I was happy that there were a number of caches on the route. Thanks for the Cache!

Out caching and doing some jeeping along with GotWine and AZ4x4s. Might need to replace the grab bar from passenger (GotWine) hands still locked on it. TFTH

We are camped near by and out for a fun day of site seeing and caching and jeeping along with John4x4 and AZ4x4s. Thanks for all the smiley faces I collected today.

Out see some beautiful mountains passes and grabbing a few caches with our friends Gotwine and John4x4. Great views and the light rain cooled it right down
Thanks kthompso (F=0 H=4) for all the caching fun
