This Cache is located at the entrance to what used to be Means Lake Recreation area and is near a stone holding a plaque giving information about the place. Since Frenchman Creek is now dry so is the lake. It is now known as the Frenchman Creek SWA and you can no longer drive to the lake bed but you can hike the area if you have a habitat stamp.

We were camped at Jumbo Reservoir for a few days. The fishing was poor so we took a drive on the plains for some caching and scenery. When I developed a caching plan before leaving home, I did not include this one due to the bushwhacking component. Gander thought that would just mean weeds so we stopped by GZ. The tribute stone was quite nice. While Gander and Katie Geodog searched the perimeter of GZ, Goose entered the bushes and crawled around on the ground since that is about the only way to navigate in this spot. After a long search, none of us could spot the cache. Goose did end up with two bloodied legs and some new caching scars. Frown
