Cache is located near Crystal Lake, off Hwy 149 west of Creede CO. Elevation is 12,100 ft. Narrow, high clearance vehicle/4WD/ATV recommended for last 1.5 miles. Can drive within 200 ft of cache, walking from there is easy.
Container is 3" PVC pipe 12" long with screw plug, painted dark green. Contents are Dr. Seuss Thing 1, beads, ball, bracelet, log book, pencils. Take your fishing gear, lunch and bug repellent. Beautiful little high mountain lake.
Driving time from Creede: 1:20; from Clear Creek Falls: 55 minutes.

We found this one after a trip up to Bristal Head. I have been coming to Creede for 30+years and have never come to Crystal Lake. So glad we did today even in the rain. Found TB that wasn't logged and had been lost. Moving it on to another location for it's owner.
