Container is hidden just off of the Park View Trail at Pine Valley Park.

Getting There: From U.S. Highway 285 at Pine Junction, turn southeast onto Pine Valley Road (County Road 126). Continue 5.8 miles toward the town of Pine, then follow the signs to the park.

Pine Valley trail is steep and HIKER ONLY- NO HORSES (sorry)

In a burned-out log two steps from the trail, please hide and cover well.

Great morning for my first winter conditions hike! Made a 6 mile, snow covered loop up Park View for 3 caches, then down Strawberry Jack and back up Buck Gulch for 2 more caches and back to the parking lot via Buck Gulch and Pine Lake. Always nice to see more deer (3) then people (2) on the trails! I added a micro container to help protect the new log, but easy to find with the hint. Cheers!

Came down this scenic trail from above, having gone up the Buck Gulch trial. Couldn't turn up a container, damaged or not, in the log - so left a replacement ziploc under a couple of rocks tucked inside.

What a great view well worth the trip. The lid is no longer attached so not sure how long the log will last if we get moisture
