I loved this book as a child.

The troll has the treasure. You may get your toes wet in the spring with snow melt but it's dry most days. My son and I love this spot for a nice peaceful rest.

[FTF] #164 @ 07:04. WOO-HOO! It's Deja Vu all over again, it was just a week and a half ago that my trusty Geomutt Boone and I were on the same trail searching for two other new hides from CO TTWeiss. Before heading into the office this morning, we enjoyed a 2 mile round trip hike out to this new one and "Three Sisters, Oh How Do I love Thee!" It's been a minute since I've hiked this far up the Midden trail and it was perfect temps for a stroll with the dog.

Back in the day, I assisted my wife who's a kindergarden teacher on several excurssions up to the band of cliffs just to the NW of here. We would start our hike near Sunset and enjoyed a snack up on the cliffs before the real fun began. The reason for the outing was an annual right of passage for all Montessori little ones, the infamous "Night Hike". Each of her students had to walk about a hundred yards of straight level path in the dark by themselves without a falshlight. It always gave me a kick to see the fear on their faces soon melt away and turn into a real sense of accomplishment after it was complete.

No problems at all locating the container, coordiantes and hint are spot on. Speaking of containers, you guys sure have outdone yourselves with the fun new hides. This one gave me a chuckle and was very well stocked for the kiddos. I added my stamp in Pole Position, snapped a pic and replaced as found.
