Dogs  Scenic view  Bicycles  Medium hike (1km-10km)

This cache is on a Public road that has signs that say that it is closed, but open only for local access. The road is pretty gnarly but I used to frequent it on my bike. Hiking down it to place this cache, I can see why the county wants to limit vehicular access.

The cache is one of my stopping off places to take a breather. It can be reached from the top by parking where you would to get to "Iko's Rock", or from hiking from the ridge where "Mondo's Rocky View" is, or by parking at the bottom of Fern Gulch Rd. I hiked down after visiting Iko's Rock.

You are looking for an 8" diameter camo-ed cookie tin.

As most caches from Stanley Park Rd. or Bear Mountain, you will have a fantastic view.

Long story. Wishing to drop this coin closer to it's goal, I tried to find a suitable cache up in impressive Rist Canyon, west of Fort Collins, over the weekend. Sadly I was not successful and the coin came back to Evergreen with me. Since I was leaving today for NC for the "winter," I had a new friend drop the coin (yesterday) in Light My Fire for the next lucky customer to find. Enjoy! This cache is one of my favorites!

Smokin' hot spot! Great place for a cache. In good shape, added a flash drive and left as found.

Sorry for the late posting. I am trying to catch up after my flurry of caching this fall when the weather was so great as well as keeping up with my current finds. Hiking & caching in Bell Park I also came over here from Iko's Rock. Interesting landmark.
