One of the things that I love about geocaching is that I get to
explore places I would never know about otherwise.
This area is home to an on mining road, cabins, camp, and some
rusted machinery and vehicles. When these places are abandoned,
nature reclaims them, like the rock wall where this cache is
hidden. If you like meandering hikes, or are a bit of a history
buff, get out here. It's a wonderful trail for the entire family.
You can find a few other caches on this trail, too.
Parking in the large turn-out on 103 recommended. The trail
starts at N 39.40.399 W 105.26.662
Camoe'd spice container a few feet from the trail.
According to my maps, this cache is placed about 1/2 down the
existing old mning road/ trail, which means that there is room for
many others past this.
