Scenic view  Not Recommended at night  Cliff / falling rocks  Parking available

Snake River Falls is just off U.S. 6 between Keystone and the A-Basin ski area. The cache is a small camo'd lock n lock container. Look between the rocks, you should be able to see the container without moving anything. You should only need to move one rock to retrieve the container. Please re-hide exactly as found. No piles of rocks or sticks please. Lets keep the area natural.
Here Snake River tumbles between high narrow rock walls creating fairly impressive falls. This is a great spot to sit and watch the rushing water.

The hardest part about reaching the cache will probably be the short but steep hill just getting down from the parking area. Then follow one of several faint trails to the cache site. Should be less than a 10 minute walk for most.

DANGER!! Watch where you are walking, and keep kids and pets in tow. There are sudden, steep drop offs along the river!
The cache itself is in a safe location.

Quite an adventure that Kansasshiels and I had trekking to discover this cache! Great parking, but a bit of a treacherous 10 minute hike down to find a safe and dry container tucked into a well sheltered area. You need good balance and good shoes to earn this smiley face! Thanks for bringing us to this lovely area and waterfall.

Yeah!! Two grannies from the flatlands of Kansas trekked down and around in the woods and found the cache without reading the hint. I agree with the CO's warnings to be extremely careful as the way there is somewhat treacherous. Wear hiking boots like us and not flip flops! Took the TB and will move it on. This was a splendidly hidden cache and I thank the CO for placing it and bringing us to this lovely spot. Gets a favorite point for the adventure.

We were spending the day exploring the area, most times we are here in the winter and our caching options are much more limited. The last time we found this cache was 7 years ago, figured it was time to check out the falls again. Nobody else was around so we were really able to enjoy this spot. A little tough getting to the cache but not too bad. Dropped off a cool TB, hope it gets picked up before the winter. TFTC

Beautiful view-well worth the hike down. Cache a little exposed out of place & found by muggles. Tried to secure it better.

What a great spot.... It took a bit to spot, but once I did I took about 20 minutes to read a book and reflect. Thanks for taking me here!
