Good find and hike. Cache hadn't been found since Aug 2016 but it's still in good condition. Thanks!

A great day away from my house remodel! Hunting South Park Tour caches and very successful with aspen starting to change and a blue sky day on the pass. This was quite the "0.61 miles" hike as it was tougher than I thought, but very glad I made it. Over 2 years with no cachers finding it (2 muggles have found it) and glad to report all is in great shape. Incredible views! Cheers!

TFTC, had to do a lot of bushwhacking so if you go for this one, bring jeans/pants.

I quite liked this cache. I visit the Boreas Pass area frequently (every summer for the past 4) and have often hiked from the pass to the first peak at ~12,000 ft. When I started caching and I saw there was a cache here I knew I had to go. So I hiked up here with my sons. We had lunch at the "summit" and made our way to the cache after that. Dropped a coin. Thanks!

I love this kind of cache. Nice fun hike to get to it. My daughter enjoyed the bush whacking.

We ran into the owner of the mine. He bought it sometime in the 1960's. He told me the name of the mine but I forgot what it was.

I started the assent with my dad. He wanted to come after I showed him the pictures of the cabin cache down the road. we got above the tree line and while I was waiting for him read the description and knew it had to be on the otherside of the summit and he was already having trouble and I did not have any water so we turned back.

Quite tricky for rookies like us. Hint was misleading,,, sort of.
