Checked on this cache after going to silver lake and looks like a four legged muggle chewed the wire and left with the cache. I did have a replacement with me so the cache is still active.

Out to see if the cable and rope are still present on the wall to Silver Lake. They are there, though not necessary to cross the wall. Another tough Jake cache along this trail. Have no idea what these things were built to do; maybe for avalanche control?? Don't look like they are part of the tram system. Oh well. great hike and nice hide, thanks..
