Howelsen Hill and the rodeo grounds get all the attention, but a short walk upstream along the Yampa River leads to a very quiet neighborhood that is normally only visited by locals and the occasional road cyclist, runner, or fly fisherperson. If you are lucky, you'll get to see a freight train barreling through here, too.

This cache will be difficult to find in deep snow conditions, but not so difficult if there is only a small amount of snow.

R1 and R2 were out getting some exercise during the lockdown. We have spent many weeks in the summer and winter and have never been to this nice park near the core trail. The snow had mainly melted but the key was looking a bit away from the shoes. All in great shape here. Thanks for placing it for our geofun!
