Bring a flyrod or ultralight spin for some fun brook trout action.

A nice walk into a pretty valley. Kenosha Creek is tiny, but the beavers have made some nice ponds. I don't think there are actually any brownies in them.

Initial contents: Log, pencil, FTF coin, TB that wants to go to Washington state, appropriate trout lure, misc swag.

No Brownies (or Brookies) were (permanently) damaged in the placing of this cache...

Congratulations to Shadow Catcher for FTF!

This one was a little tough with the way we went in to the trees. We kept falling in the snow and the dogs had a tough time but we finally found, signed and moved on

This was a fun find, and we enjoyed trying to trace the social/animal trail up to the cache site. It took us a few minutes to find it, but we are glad for the new container and the great location! We didn't see a caveman TB, maybe we misunderstood. Left an additional toy. Thanks for the placement!

Took the day off from work to catch some fall color before it's all gone. Found a nice spot for lunch near Kenosha pass. After finishing I checked my GPSr and realized there was a cache 600 ft away! Steep walk down to the cache but totally worth it! TFTC

Once again, I joined a few thousand of my closest friends at the top of Kenosha Pass. As usual, even though people were parked all along US 285 and up and down the entry road, there was space at my parking waypoint.

The path south across the meadow from the main path to the trees is almost invisible. I added a waypoint for where to leave the main path and head south.

The beavers have been busy, and the pond is almost up to the cache tree. While I was looking for the right tree, Ms. Anne found my cache container sitting on a rock in the open about 50 feet away. Since there are no logs in over a year, I wonder how that got there. Anyway, I replaced the old food container with a mega-bison and attached it in its place. Even if the beavers raise the pond a foot, it might be under water, but it will not wash away. Adding spoiler picture.
