The Kokopelli Cache is named for the fertility deity venerated by many Southwest Native American tribes. He is depicted as a humpbacked flute player with feathers protruding from his head. He is known as a trickster and the spirit of music.

This cache is a clear plastic kitchen container inside a large ziplock bag. The original cache contained a Kokopelli trinket. Please replace the current trinket with one that has a Native American theme. Make sure to sign the log and replace the cache securely.

 Hints

To find the Kokopelli Cache you must begin a journey that will take you "around the Horn". Your path will pass the sign where Kokopelli "krosses" beside a paved road. Follow him toward the "Rainbow".

Cache is in great shape for so few finds...SL, traded swag—took alien, buffalo, and gorilla, left coin, owl, and something else from my daughter that I can’t remember. #652 for team Torkelson—on men’s retreat from Mountain Springs Church in C Springs! Tftc!

First cache found in Custer County. Found easily. Cords were good. Always in the last place I look. Temps probably in the 50s but very windy so it felt colder. Walked up from Sky Ranch. Brought my daughter her car. She's at the camp till May. TFTC. Marking it as a favorite but don't expect too many finds with winter approaching.
