Along the Buck Creek Trail, up the Mountain Star drainage
There is parking at the Buck Creek Trailhead, just 1/4 mile up the Buck Creek Road heading toward Mountain Star. The terrain is a little steep and there are several small creek to cross.

 Hints

The cache is a clear Rubbermaid container with a dark red lid. It is hidden under some lumber on the east side of the trail, just before the National Forest wire fence.

Wow almost a year lonely but the cache is dry and ok. The container looks like it should leak and the ziplock is torn, but the log was dry. Lol, you say the trail is kind of steep. My plains state butt is dying after that hike. Still it’s beautiful and I needed the workout. ;). Thanks!
