Fellow Cachers, are you tired of anxiously hunting for Geocaches with all those pesky Muggles around, constantly staring and wondering what that crazy person is looking for? Then step right up, this series of caches is for you! The beauty of this cache series is its off trail, and I doubt you'll see many (if any)people here, as opposed to the Maxwell scene. This fairly easy cache is the first of a series of 5 named in honor of our faithful Geodog Shorty, AKA (Short Dog, Shorty Pants, Chapo, Short Man, or just Short).  These Caches will take you throughout YOUR National forest, so bring plenty of water and be mindful of the wildlife. You can park by the big bend in the road and walk up from there, Happy Hunting!

Got out and about on this sunny and warm day, before the next wave of snow comes thru - this was the second of six geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

My first and last stop on the circuit. This got really weird. I found GZ on the way up, but the hint implied looking down, not up. I swear that on my way back to the car, the GPS and phone app lead me back to the very same spot, but this time, the hint was different and it took me to the geocache. This is definitely the "Forest of Bounce" in more ways than one.

I have been wanting to search for this set of caches out here since I saw them to start pop up. Today was the day. I looked for all 14 and found 11. This was the first one I looked for and found at 2:03 pm. Thanks for the new caches in a fantastic area all off trail.

Last one find on my hike in this area today. Quick find but damn those child safety lids! Got it open to sign the log. TFTC!

Found with Evgnhiker in the mid-morning before the rain. This was the first of our jaunt the area as we made a counter-clockwise loop in this newly endowed area. There were fewer cars in the area than I expected since it was the weekend. I wonder if the potential rain held people back. Thanks for the hide!
