Congratulations! You’ve found a geocache that is one of a series from the Grand County Water Tour!
This geocache is not handicap accessible.
Going west on US 40, Highway 9 is at the sole traffic light in Kremmling. Turn left onto US Highway 9 and proceed 1.8 miles. Next turn left onto County Road 33 and continue for 5 miles. At the fork stay right for .5 miles. The Public parking lot will be on your left. There is access to a porter potty.
This cache is located along Reeder Creek.
DID YOU KNOW???
1. Reeder Creek is a tributary (smaller water body flowing into a larger water body) of the Colorado River. This area mostly consists of steep meadows and agricultural land.
2. Parts of the Colorado River have been listed as Gold Medal fishing waters by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. This gold medal section is the Fraser River Confluence west to Troublesome Creek (East of the Town of Kremmling).
3. This geocache site is located on Reeder Creek just down the hill from the parking lot. This stretch of land is owned by the Bureau of Land Management and is open to the public for fishing.
