Just a quick park and grab I placed while in town for Donkey Derby Days.
Victor Colorado has deep roots in mining. Back in the day where there was mining there were trains to transport precious loads and people. The three story brick building across the way was a train station when the the tracks came all the way to Victor. I'm not sure of the years that it was a station.

There are rumors that it was also at one time a brothel, but I couldn't get a confirmation on that.
If anyone knows more about the history of this building please post it:)

Congrats to campcaching and ryan&nails for FTF!!

When I got the notification I noticed my cache had the wrong name. I've changed it back:)

Took a bit to find. I am going to blame it on the hail on the ground.

Thank you.

My GPS was leading me astray for a while. I had an idea of what I was looking for and then finally found it. Cute cache. Thanks for getting me out to the backside of Victor, such a spectacular historical town. Well worth the travel. TFTC

We worked our way from Indiana to Colorado Springs via Columbia, MO and then WaKeeney, KS. After spending five days at Garden of the Gods Campground with the Geowinnies and my brother and his wife we headed to the Cripple Creek KOA. We’re doing a little caching and sightseeing between the rainstorms that we hear are much needed in this area.

Today was absolutely gorgeous and sunny with only a spot of rain that happened during our walk on a virtual cache. We found this cache on our journey today and thank cache-faerie for it and for the smiley. This was a quick find and all was well with the cache. Favorite point given.
