This cache is located up the old Ute Trail, otherwise known as the trail to the Gearhart Mine. The trail is steep, with loose shale along most it. Watch your footing, bring lots of water, take your time and enjoy the veiws! (Don't focus on the steepness of the trail) There are three caches in all that I put out today. This one is no longer a "Natural" 35 mm film cannister sized cache. It is now a 30 caliber ammo can.
This is the first one I placed along the old Ute Trail. When you get to the top of the hill and your within a stones throw of the cache, you will have hiked up the steepest part of the whole trail. Sit a spell, cache your breath, take a few pictures, smack a few gnats and then head on over to the cache. If you return it to where you found it, should stay out of muggles view for long time. After visiting this cache, continue your trek up the trail to "So what's over there?"

CONGRATULATIONS to Pauleefox for the FTF!

Didn't find it 10/01/2017 By daveandkathy
With all the beer cans I think it is gone. It was found in Feb, but we looked for quite awhile and nothing.

A very appropriate name, good rest spot for a moment. Very windy today and cold to boot. Thanks for the chum line. Surprised that it is still intact with all the beer cans in the vicinity.

Coordinates changed to:

Distance from original: 118.8 feet or 36.2 meters.
A little farther off the trail and a whole lot larger to keep the tiny 4-legged mugglers from moving it, again! :0)
