This is our first cache placement. We suggest you approach from the east. It involves crossing a stream, although we made it across with dry feet. Two eleven year olds,a seven year old anda sixyearold picked the spot. It took a while to agree on the placement!

My #2014 with Mark and David on our way to a walk to the base of Mount Bierstadt. I'm a Fox in the Boy Scout adult training called Wood Badge, so I really wanted to get this one. Had to wait for the cows and calves to cross the road. We parked on the east side, walked to the stream, and decided it was running too swiftly to cross safely especially as there could be a better way. We moved the car to the closest spot in the campground and walked in from there. That was much better. Mark saved getting his feet wet until we got to Bierstadt. TFTC.

Picked up this smiley after a short drive down Geneva Creek Rd. Attacked from the campground side, the creek was a bit too high and swift to attempt a tree crossing. TFTC!!!

We enjoyed the day being in the mountains. What a wonderful area! I will make this one a favorite because I especially enjoyed crossing the creek on the double log bridge nearby! My geohusband decided to stay on the other side! What a great day! Thanks for the cache! You did a great job!
